Overview

The Account Overview area is where a platform admin manages the organization’s Telestream UP subscription: the current plan, optional add-ons, the payment method on file, and past invoices. It’s visible only to platform admins — go to Settings → Account Overview.

Account Overview page

The main page shows four panels, plus a status banner when something needs your attention.

Status banner

A banner appears above the page when relevant:

Subscription Plan panel

Shows your plan name and price (displayed as “Free” during a trial), and one status line depending on your account’s state:
  • Trial, active: “Your plan will expire on [date]
  • Cancellation scheduled: a Cancellation Scheduled badge plus “Your subscription will end on [date]. You’ll continue to have full access until then.”
  • A plan change is already pending: “[Plan] ([price]) plan will start on [date]
  • Normal paid plan: “Your plan will be automatically renewed on [date]
Buttons change based on state: Cancel Subscription (opens a confirmation dialog), Undo Cancellation (instant, no dialog), Upgrade Subscription / Renew Subscription (opens the Plans page), or Keep My Plan (cancels a pending plan change instantly). If there’s no active plan, the panel shows “No Active Subscription” with a Subscribe Now button.
Cancelling your subscription: Clicking Cancel Subscription opens a dialog explaining you’ll keep full access until the end of the current billing period, after which the account loses access to the platform. Confirm with Cancel Subscription, or back out with Keep My Plan.

Add-Ons panel

Lists the add-ons available on your plan (for example, additional Review sessions or Ingest seats), each showing the current allocated quantity and the per-unit price. Add-ons aren’t available during a trial. To change an add-on’s quantity, use the Change menu, pick the add-on, and set a new quantity in the dialog that opens. The dialog shows the cost per allocation and the new total cost before you save. Changes apply to your next invoice.

Payment Method panel

Shows the default card on file (brand, masked number, expiration date, cardholder name), with a Change button that takes you to the Payment Methods page. If no card is on file, you’ll see Add a Payment Method instead.

Invoices panel

A table of past invoices with columns for invoice number, status, amount, payment method, and payment date.
  • Status shows as Unpaid, Partially Paid, or Paid in Full.
  • Click View on any row to open the hosted invoice in a new tab. If no invoice link is available, View is disabled for that row.
If you’re redirected back from a card-verification step during checkout, a confirmation message appears automatically at the top of this page.

Changing your plan

Go to Account Overview → Upgrade Subscription (or Renew/Subscribe Now) to open the Plans page.
  1. Choose Monthly or Yearly billing. Yearly plans show the savings compared to paying monthly.
  2. Select a plan card. The card matching your current plan is marked Current Plan; one plan is marked Recommended.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. In the Subscription Plan Change dialog, review your current and new plan, then confirm:
    • If you’re on a paid plan, click Confirm Change.
    • If you’re converting from a trial, enter your card details in the same dialog and click Confirm & Pay (shown even if you already have a card on file, since trial accounts are prompted to confirm payment details).
Some cards require an extra bank verification step — you may briefly leave the app and be redirected back automatically. Depending on the change, you’ll see one of two confirmations back on the Account Overview page:
  • Upgrades typically apply immediately: “You have upgraded your subscription plan from [old] to [new].”
  • Downgrades or other scheduled changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and you’ll see a warning-style confirmation instead.
Trial plans are no longer shown on this page once your trial has ended.

Managing payment methods

Go to Settings → Account Overview → Payment Methods (via the Change link on the Payment Method panel).
  • Each card on file is shown as a tile with its brand, masked number, expiration date, and cardholder name. The card in use is highlighted.
  • Click any other card to make it your default — this happens immediately, no confirmation needed.
  • Add New Payment Method opens a form for card number, expiration month/year, CVV, first name, and last name, with a checkbox to make it the new default.
  • Delete (trash icon) is only available when you have more than one card on file — you can’t remove your only payment method this way. Deleting your current default card automatically promotes another card to default; the confirmation dialog tells you which card that will be.
