LiveSources v1.10.0 - Published: 08-11-2026
BUG FIXES:
- Resolved video track population issue. Fixed a bug where configuring the VBI crop method fully populated the video track, preventing recordings from failing due to OpenCL errors.
- Added input boundary safeguards. Set a maximum limit of 8000 on latency configuration fields to prevent system instability from excessive values.
- Fixed recording failure on special characters. Standardized file pathing to automatically sanitize colons and forward slashes in channel or file names, ensuring files record reliably without saving to unintended subfolders.
- Restricted unauthorized configuration access. Corrected permission management logic so unauthorized users can no longer manage LiveSources settings.
NEW FEATURES:
- Enhanced stream lock management. System resources and event-stream locks are now immediately released as soon as a consumer stops, improving overall operational efficiency and system availability.
- Improved worker process lifecycle. Refactored worker runtime shutdowns to exit cleanly through their dedicated framework rather than forcing abrupt system termination.
- Optimized sidecar process handling. Reordered the execution lifecycle of worker sidecars to strictly align with their parent workers, ensuring cleaner starts and teardowns.
- Enhanced context passing for orchestrators. Context information is now passed directly to orchestration controllers and worker interfaces, improving execution tracking and system responsiveness.
