# SRT settings

> How a source receives its stream.

The `srt_settings` of a source say how its SRT stream is received. Which fields are required depends on the mode and on what is enabled; each field says when it is required. Field names are written as they appear in the JSON, so `minimumLatency` rather than `minimum_latency`.
