# Configure Sources

# Settings: Sources

## Create a New Source

Navigate to **Settings > Sources**. Click on the **New Source** button to open the edit panel and configure a new watch folder. You can also drag a folder from your filesystem onto the sources list to pre-fill a new source with that folder.

## Edit a Source

When creating or editing a source, these fields are available:

* **Name:** Name used throughout the application to identify this source.
* **Path:** Folder on your filesystem that is watched for media.  Use the folder button to browse for a location. Any mounted drive works, including external disks and NAS shares.
* **Enabled:** Toggle whether this source is scanned and shown in the Sources list on the home page.
